Lorraine Daniel was born and raised on O`ahu and began hula at a young age with her Kumu Hula mother Rose Joshua. All four daughters in the family danced and the three youngest girls kept a busy performance schedule during their teens as the darlings of wartime in Honolulu. "The Fabulous Joshua Sisters" regularly performed at numerous military bases and Waikïkï hotels and restaurants. Lorraine went on to train countless dancers over the years in Hawai`i, the mainland, and Europe. She continues to teach most every day at the Magic Hula Studio originally established by her mother in Waikïkï.
